My fiance and I are getting married in June. His parents can ballroom dance and we don't want to get shown up. Have we left it too late to learn the basics before the wedding?

It depends how old you are. People under 16 normally go to the Saturday mornings childrens class. If you are over, then you can come.

Hi Spencer,
The best day would be Tuesday at 20.30pm. There are normally two teachers for the begiiners. This means that one of these teachers would concentrate on the absolute beginners who have just walked through the door for the first time.
Please don't feel worried about coming for the first time as the studio is very informal and friendly. No one expects you to have danced before and the pace is relatively slow for new people.
You will basically be taught a few basic steps and once you have these more will be added on.
It does take some time to get the basics of each dance, but these are the building blocks of everything else you will ever learn. There is no need to learn them in a hurry, just progress at your own rate.
